When originally purchased in 1975, this site surrounded a 26 acre lake, contained 137 improved sites and had only 8 mobile homes.  Within the first year recreational amenities were added to the site including, 2 recreation buildings, a swimming pool (50 ft. by 25 ft.), 2 tennis courts, 4 shuffleboard courts, and a beautiful lakeside boardwalk.  The park expanded in 3 additional phases based upon sales and absorption activity with 44 sites in 1979, 99 sites in 1980 and the final phase of 160 sites in 1980-81, bringing a total of 440 sites.
